Playing Catch Up

So much has happened in the last 2 years that i dont think i can actually recall everything!
Nadia is now 10 Years old. she is in the 5th grade (Ms. Murphy's class). she enjoys going to FIGGS to spend time with girls. after spending every waking moment with 3 brothers who could blame her! she loves to sing and dance and is a yellow belt in Tae Kwon Do!!!!! she loves putting her little brother to bed for me on occasions. and he makes her smile. she has come so far and is a brave girl. she has done things that i could never have even imagined at the age she is. she surprises me all time with her energy and excitement for life and learning.For Halloween Nadia dressed up as a Raccoon. I Love that she chose a Raccoon....

Malik just turned 8! he was just Baptized!!!!! he really opens my eyes to the teachings and joys of the gospel. he has a faith of obedience to gospel truths and standards that i constantly struggle with. he doesnt question his faith for a second and soaks it all in. he is in the 2nd grade (Mrs.Lemagie's class). his teachers says he is so polite and sincere to everyone he meets.he has an eagerness to learn. he also is a yellow belt in Tae Kwon Do!!!!!! this is the One activity that both he and Nadia can do together and not argue. i am so greatful they have something they can build memories together with. it probably helps that they are equally competitive and are slight perfectionists. i wish that would cross over to them cleaning their room. this year for Halloween he dressed up as an Army Medic.

Church Prayer

Last week i was asked if i would give the prayer in sacrement the next week, i agreed that i would without hesitation.(not like me at all) this whole week i thought off and on about this prayer i would give and decided not to think to much about it, being afraid it would make me so nervous i might come down with a mysterious illness. last night though i finally decided the reason I should get up to say a prayer. that reason is, is that i would much rather get up a give a "short & sweet" prayer then a Talk! so there you have it. i made my contribution in giving of service and myself. the weird things is i was much more nervous afterwords then i was walking up there and saying the prayer....

Well i have discovered that i really stink at keeping a blog!

I sure am gonna try harder though mainly because i like looking at other peoples blogs and i guess i should at least give others something to read....

Thanks to Melissa, the fridge trick worked!

So...i put seeds in a baggy with a paper towel and whetted it, Then set it on the fridge.

2-3 days later they were sprouting, now 1 week later.....

Yikes!

some baggies are 2 inches high.

and of course i put way too many seeds in the bags thinking"this probably won't work"

W0W i was wrong!
